The Spring Loaded event, Apple's first gig of 2021, is finally over. It's been a huge reveal full of some most-awaited devices and updates. Let's see what Apple got us this time!

(Well, we didn't get iOS 14.5 this time, but that's exactly what we're expecting the next time 😎)

1️⃣ The long-awaited AirTags

Apple's AirTags don't have a built-in keychain loop, and we have some thoughts - The Verge

The $29 AirTags are the brand-new part of Find My network and help you track "items, not people". AirTags are supposed to act as a key finder, helping find keys and other products utilizing UWB technology using the "Precision Finding" feature. AirTags are supported on any device running iOS/iPadOS 14.5 or later. They're also available in a four-pack for $99.

2️⃣ Apple Card & Apple Podcasts updates

You can now share the card with anyone in your family with parental controls. It's called, wait for it, Apple Card Family.

Regarding the Apple Podcasts, the app was redesigned and now it includes subscriptions, recommendations, and more.

3️⃣ iPad Pro

As anticipated and shown in a super-cool blockbuster trailer, the iPad Pro got the new M1 chip. It now also goes up to 2TB storage, 16GB memory, 5G connectivity, and switches to Thunderbolt 4 from USB-C. The camera now has the new 12-megapixel sensor with an ultrawide field of view. It can reframe the shot for video calls with the new feature called the Center Stage.

Available in 2 sizes, the 12.9-inch model starts at $1,099; the 11-inch at $799.

4️⃣ And what about iMac?

The new iMac with M1 chip was completely redesigned and somehow still has the issues of the previous models, like the ports located only on the back. Nevertheless, it's now much "skinnier" and looks just awesome.

It starts at $1,299.

The iMac uses a 24-inch display and has the 1080p webcam that debuted in the previous model.

Plus, the speakers are new — there's now a six-speaker system and it generates way more powerful sound, spatial audio, and clearer sound. iMac will be a great fit for not only work and video editing, but also for gaming with Apple Arcade. It's significantly faster than the old 21.5-inch model so you'll definitely need to try it that way.

As a pleasant bonus, it has a MagSafe-like connector with an Ethernet connection on the brick and color-matched keyboards with Touch ID. Also color-matched trackpads and mice.

5️⃣ Oh, one more thing!

Surprise, a new iPhone 12 is coming this week, and it's purple - CNET

Speaking of iPhone 12, it now goes in a new color. Purple. Available for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini. We bet more people will enjoy this new color!

6️⃣ We're not done yet!

Last but not least, we've got the all-new Apple TV 4K. 😱

With an A12 Bionic chip which allows for HDR in high frame rates. Now you can use the sensor in your iPhone's camera to calibrate the TV's picture. Plus, there's a new remote with a mute button and a TV power button. AND, the obligatory Apple TV Plus show announcement included the return of Jason Sudeikis' Ted Lasso. We know, right?

So, how was this April's Apple event for you? Are you willing to get some cool new gadgets? Let us know in the comments and share this post with your friends in case they've missed the live stream!

Stay tuned for more ♥️
